From a new breed of motivator, America’s Attitude Coach
Ray Pelletier gives you a practical guide to translating
your personal mission into concrete action. Make it today
yours on January 1st. Say goodbye to negative thoughts and
change your life by giving yourself Permission to Win.
A conversation with the champions
Bad perceptions of ourselves are created early
childhood and may stay with us for the rest of our lives,
unless we make an effort to change and have victory
paragraph.
Decide to win
The first step to winning is: you have to decide to win.
Your January 1st marks the day you decided to restructure
his way of thinking and escape from every cell into which
others have limited you.
What is victory?
Victory is recognition of one of life’s greatest truths –
“It doesn’t matter what happens to you, it only matters what you do
with what happens to you!” – the winner is someone who
knows how to overcome adversity.
Goals and missions
Your mission refers to your reason for being on earth,
your purpose in life. We all need a vision and a mission
that reflects our unique talents and desires. It is
something is eating us and it is the inner voice that
it tells us what we should do with our time.
Some of the unhappiest people are those who never stop
goals for yourself and continue to work at a job that
they hate or stay in a hopeless relationship. these
people cheat themselves of higher personal fulfillment
and inner peace.
Attitude – the magic of mental training
You have to find yourself a coach. Where you can find
the best coach? Look in the mirror. If you are going to be a
long term winner, you have to access your subconscious
mind and reprogram it with positive thoughts and
experiences that will keep you on top!
If you were programmed to think you were a loser and
will never amount to much, chances are that’s what you
become. You can reprogram yourself to think like you
are the winner.
Learning does that
You are responsible for getting the best education
to prepare you for your dream. Note that many
cases of “overnight success” actually took years
achieve.
Remember: winners never stop learning.
Communication – the center of the wheel
Winners follow these principles of effective communication:
1. Think before you speak.
2. Keep control of your emotions and be positive,
with an open mind and respect for other people’s views.
3. When communicating with others: Be polite. do not
abort. Be attentive.
4. When you have something to say, start by listening.
5. KISS – Keep It Simple, Simon! This means great
communicators use clear, simple, concise and direct
Language. No one likes a pretentious person who only takes advantage
big words and likes to sound superior.
6. Unnecessary raising of the voice can be interpreted as
a sign of anger or frustration and should be avoided in
each example. Stay focused on your goal.
Family and personal relationships
Winners can weather the storm and come out okay. If
your husband left you, maybe it’s time to put on a
victory hat and let’s move on. Create your new life and don’t
sink into depression and inactivity. Remember,
we cannot adjust the wind, but we can adjust the sails.
Victory in the workplace
Always remember: you are responsible for your own
professional career. Your attitude is everything. Leave
your work luggage outside the door when you get home.
Likewise, leave your personal luggage in front of the door
when you arrive at your workplace. In real life, we create
the mistake of taking our problems home from work and ours
home problems to work.
Give yourself up
All human beings, regardless of their religion,
find happiness and fulfillment in the form of giving or
mercy. When we help others we feel lighter,
and happier. Choose a reason that interests you and suits you
his talent and unique profile. This will add a new meaning
his life.
Fiscal capacity
Yes, you CAN make a living AND keep working
his personal mission. Few of us are rich enough or
lucky enough to simply follow our dreams without
thought about where we will get the funds. It is necessary a
daily effort to allocate one part of your day to
the work of your personal dream, and the other for payment
lease.
Water of life
This includes probably the most important spokes in the
Circle or Wheel of Life. The water of life refers to
three essential spokes of the Circle of Life:
- Spiritual
-
Physical fitness
-
Free time
We all have to make room for these activities.
Permission to win
- Free yourself from self-imposed limitations and open yourself up
your mind to championship potential. -
Do not allow the loss of a job, relationship or person
illness takes away your strength. -
The great thing about human beings is their ability
overcome adversity. -
Give yourself permission to win and start today!
-
Take five seconds to stand in the mirror and say to yourself
loudly and decisively: “I give you permission to win.”
Key thoughts:
“Be more concerned about your character than about yourself
reputation, because character is who you really are,
while your reputation is only what others think of you
are.” -John Wooden, college basketball coach
“Although they give gold medals only in the area
athletics, I encourage everyone to look within themselves
and find your personal dream, whatever that may be
to be – sports, medicine, law, work, music, writing,
whatever. The same principles apply. Turn your dream around
into the goal and learn how to attack that goal
systematically. Break it into bite-sized pieces
it seems possible, then don’t give up. Keep going
switching off.”
– John Naber, swimmer, four-time Olympic gold medalist
