Stages of a Healthy Relationship

Do you know what it takes to have a healthy relationship? Did you know that there are certain stages and steps in forming a healthy relationship? It may not be as hard as you thought to create and have a healthy relationship with the woman in your life. You just need to be willing to be aware of the various stages and make sure that you are following suit.

Stage One: Trust. Every healthy relationship needs to be based on the foundations of honesty and trust. You need to be able to communicate honestly with each other and be able to completely trust each other. Don’t get this concept confused with liking everything the other person has to say or agreeing on everything, this just means that you create a solid base of honesty and allow each other to express yourselves openly with each other.

Stage Two: Communication. Ah yes, many men quiver at the thought of communicating. It really doesn’t have to be as hard as some people make it out to be. In fact, communicating if done properly and right off the bat in a relationship can be the easiest thing to achieve. Healthy relationships rely heavily on the ability to be able to communicate with each other. Listening to each other and knowing what the other person feels are very important in having a long lasting relationship.

Stage Three: Affection. Again, some men shy away at the thought of showing any kind of affection to their significant other, and view it as a loss of control or make them less of a man, but they couldn’t be farther from the truth. Women love when men show them affection, even if it is simple things like holding their hand when they are not expecting it, or greeting them with a hug when they get home from work. Women view affection as being strong and loving.

If you are confident that you have what it takes to have a healthy relationship, these stages are a good indication that you might be on the right track.
